Rep Gowon Haruna IJN celebrates Easter with Christians
Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna, House of Representatives member representing Dekina/Bassa federal constituency, has extended congratulations to Christian faithful across Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency in Kogi State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Easter celebrations.
The federal lawmaker urged Christians to utilize this solemn occasion to promote peace, love, and progress within our esteemed state.
The Dekina / Bassa lawmaker declared, “The death of Jesus, as chronicled in the Holy Bible, embodies a pivotal sacrifice offered to redeem humanity from the bondage of sin, death, sorrow, and Satan.” He reiterated that Jesus Christ’s resurrection denotes a resounding triumph over Satan and his followers. Hon. Paul encouraged Christian believers within Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency to emulate Jesus’ selfless example, demonstrated through His unconditional love for humanity.
Hon. Paul Haruna Gowon urges all Christian faithfuls to utilize this period to sincerely intercede for Nigeria’s wellbeing and its leaders at all levels. Nigeria is a land endowed with abundant human and natural resources. We need to pray to God to grant our leaders the wisdom and ability to effectively govern our dear nation, Nigeria.
