Ahead of the November 2nd, 2024 local government elections in Nasarawa State, Barr. Mohammed Ibrahim Alkali-led All Progressives Congress, APC, Screening Committee has submitted its report to Hon. Aliyu Bello (PhD), the Chairman of the State Party Committee.
Barr Alkali, a former state legislator, presented the report at the party Secretariat in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital, on Wednesday evening, alongside other committee members, highlighting the exercise’s significance in the electoral process and demonstrating the committee’s diligence in evaluating candidates for the forthcoming election.
According to the committee Chairman, they have performed a meticulous evaluation, adhering strictly to electoral regulations and the party’s constitutional framework.
Barr. Mohammed Ibrahim Alkali, Chairman of the Screening Committee, thanked the Party Chairman for the opportunity to serve and assured that the committee conducted a thorough and transparent screening exercise.
He thanked the party for their trust and pledged their continued backing.
A press release dated 16/10/2024, issued by Comr Alkhamis Ladan, Secretary of the Screening Committee for the local Government Council election, stated that Hon. Aliyu Bello PhD, Chairman of the Nasarawa State APC, expressed sincere gratitude and commendation to the Committee for meeting the established deadline.
He acknowledged the Committee’s diligence, industriousness, and devotion to guaranteeing a smooth screening procedure.
He described this as a significant milestone in preparations for the Local Government Council election, praising the Committee’s efficiency and commitment.
