SDP National Chairman slams President Tinubu’s hash economic policies

The National Chairman of Social Democrat Party (SDP), Shehu Musa Gabam, has expressed disapproval with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, saying it’s anti-people and should be review immediately.
Expressing his grievance over what Nigerians are passing through due to removal of fuel subsidy and to review the removal of fuel subsidy, fuel scarcity and nationwide electricity tariff increase, astronomically increasing poverty index in the country.

He also said that the recent increment in the electricity tariff are capable of throwing the nation in anarchy.
Musa Gabam made the call while playing host to SDP State Lawmakers from Nasarawa State.
It would be reported that Lawmakers in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly on the platform of Social Democratic party SDP, namely Hon Solomon AKwashiki (Lafia Central) Hon Musa Saidu Gude (Uke/Karshi) and Hon David Onah Kana (Udege /Loko) visited their national party chairman in Abuja where national issues topped discussion.
Gabam said the increase in the price of petroleum motor spirit occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy and the recent increment in the electricity tariff are capable of throwing the nation in anarchy, calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to review the policies.
He commended the member representing Lafia Central constituency Hon. Solomon AKwashiki for raising an alarm at the floor of the House on the continuous epileptic power supply in Nasarawa State and challenged the National Assembly to take a cue from Nasarawa State and speak on the hardship being faced by Nigerians.
Earlier, Leader of the team, Hon Solomon AKwashiki said they were at the National Secretariat of SDP to pass a vote of confidence on the national Chairman and lend their voices on the hardship Nigerians are facing, especially the hike in price of petroleum products.
AKwashiki said lawmakers of Social Democratic Party extraction in Nasarawa State House of Assembly will continue to work based on the principles and Ideology of the party and that explains why he raised alarm on the poor supply of electricity and over billing in the State.
The member representing Lafia Central Constituency informed the National Chairman that lawmakers of Social Democratic party (SDP) aside legislating are also embarking on massive infrastructural development as he looks forward to his coming to Nasarawa State to commission some of the projects.
Hon. Solomon AKwashiki used the medium to commend Gov. Abdullahi Sule for initiating a security blue print which has restore relative peace in the State.
