He emphasized this observation about Nigerian women of his generation who own houses, suggesting a special connection between female homeownership and having undergone BBLs.

The son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti, in a viral video mentioned that he has observed a pattern among women of his generation, stating that about 80% of the female homeowners he knows have had Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures.
He highlighted this observation particularly in the context of Nigerian women, emphasizing that he rarely sees a woman with a house who hasn’t undergone this cosmetic surgery
“For this Nigeria sha, I never see any woman wey get house, wey no get BBL. For my whole generation of women wey I see, 80% of homeowners are BBLs. I’m not insinuating anything, but there seems to be something special in Nigeria about BBL and success,” Kuti stated.
