Seun Kuti talks about late Nigerian leader’s maltreatment of his family, including his father Fela and uncles Beko and Koye

Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, reacted emotionally to the death of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that no family in Nigeria suffered more under Buhari’s rule than his own.

In a video shared on Instagram, Seun recalled how his father and uncles, Beko and Koye, were allegedly mistreated during Buhari’s military regime.

He expressed regret that these key figures in his life passed away before Buhari and said that the former president’s death does not bring justice or victory to his family.

However, he found some comfort in imagining that his father and uncles might confront Buhari together in the afterlife.
