Members of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly have unanimously expressed confidence in Speaker Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau through a vote, acknowledging his outstanding leadership abilities.
Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara, Majority Leader, submitted a motion on public interest matters during the House’s Lafia proceedings today.
The majority leader cited the Speaker’s strong commitment to the welfare of members and staff, as well as his dedication to fostering the growth of the legislative institution, as the reasons behind the successful vote of confidence.
” Mr. Speaker, your leadership abilities are truly exemplary. We hold you in high esteem and our constituents greatly appreciate your exceptional leadership skills.”
“We’ve seen sincerity, integrity, unity, transparency, and accountability under your leadership, and our staff are working diligently.”
“Mr. Speaker, I commend you as a unifier, a man of peace, humility, and justice, who has demonstrated all-inclusive leadership.”
“The Majority Leader confidently assured the Speaker of their steadfast loyalty and continuous support.”
“We are impressed and delighted with the manner in which you are guiding us.”
“Given this understanding, we will persist in providing you with complete 100 per cent support to guarantee your triumph.”
” So that together we will continue to enact quality laws and pass resolutions that will have direct bearing on the lives of our people” he said.
The 19 lawmakers present at the day’s sitting lavished praise on the Speaker’s outstanding leadership, unanimously passing a vote of confidence and urging him to continue in this vein.
They noted that the Speaker effectively united and stabilized the House.
They also stated that the speaker is a visionary leader, possessing wisdom, capacity, and having implemented numerous positive reforms within the House.
They mentioned that the Speaker has shown a strong commitment to the development of the House and the state.
Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, expressed gratitude to the lawmakers for their vote of confidence in him.
