….Hails supreme court judgement for affirming Gov Ododo’s mandate

A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, and renowned legal expert, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, has commended the Supreme Court for its landmark judgement affirming the election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as duly elected by majority of Kogi voters in the November 11 election in the State.

Barr. Tanko Musa Osuku, who is the Executive Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission said the recent supreme court judgement is a resounding endorsement of the democratic process and the will of the people of Kogi State.

According to him, the Supreme Court has once again demonstrated its commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that the mandate given to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is respected.

“As a legal practitioner, I am thrilled to see the highest court in the land affirm the governor Ododo’s victory. This judgement is a testament to the independence and impartiality of our judiciary.”

Barr. Tanko, a former chief Administrator of Kogi local government (2016-2019) and elswhile Senior Special Assistant to former Kogi State Governor on LG and Chieftaincy Affairs, said Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has demonstrated exceptional leadership and vision for our state, and this judgement is a vindication of his mandate. I have no doubt that he will continue to serve our state with distinction.

The Kogi State Civil Service Commission boss congratulated the Supreme Court on this landmark judgement and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his well-deserved victory.
