Supreme court verdict: Ex-presidential hopeful, Onwusoanya Ezendigbo congratulates Njoku on affirmation as authentic APGA national chairman

Former Presidential hopeful, Chief CBN Onwusoanya Ezendigbo, has congratulated Chief Edozie Njoku on his affirmation by the supreme court of Nigeria as the substantive national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Njoku emerged the legitimate Chairman of the party following the Supreme Court verdict that went in his favour.
The ruling also led to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, recognising him as the authentic Chairman of the party after a long power tussle within the party.
Reacting in a statement on Friday, Onwusoanya Ezendigbo said that Njoku’s affirmation has put to bay the leadership crisis in the party and advocated for democratisation of internal affairs of the party in line with ideologies and principle.
He called on opposition members of the party to sheathe their swords and accept the hand of working relationship extended to them by the national chairman so as to enable him reposition APGA on the path of progress.
Ezendigbo called on the party national chairman to see his triumphant at the apex court as the will of almighty God and ensure all members are carried along in administration of the affairs of the progressive party.
While admonishing Njoku to be magnanimous in victory, the prominent Igbo chieftain also charged the APGA chairman to remain steadfast in advancing the course of Nigerians, especially, this moment the country is faced with insecurity, food inflation, naira devaluation and other challenges, which has impeded the efforts of Nigeria to attain greatness.
He also used the medium to commend the founder of the APGA, Chief Chekwas Okorie for his role in restoring peace in the party, encouraging him to remain steadfast in championing the course of igbo nation and the country at large.
