Joe Oyoh, ex-Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), South Africa chapter, has maintained that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu lacked requisite capacity to solve myriads of problems impeding the effort of the country to attain greatness.
He insisted that the present federal government controlled by the APC has failed as its economic policies have impoverished the citizens and set the country on the path of backwardness.
Oyoh who bared his minds in a statement on Tuesday, following escalating economic crisis ravaging the country.
He berated the national assembly approval for procurement of new presidential fleets for the President and vice President, and wondered why such approval is coming when citizens are wallowing in abject poverty, hunger and insecurity.
According to him, “Our education and health system has gone comatose. It amounts to deceit that political office holders entrusted with people’s mandate could contemplates to acquire new flights for the President and his vice at this moment workers are demanding for improved welfare.
“This kind of approval shouldn’t have come this time citizens are at the receiving end, and feeling the harsh effect of oil subsidy removal, Naira devaluation, food inflations, terror attacks and the rest,” the former party chieftain stated.
Oyoh admonished Nigerian leaders to rise up to the occasion and pursue policies and programs that will mitigate suffering of the people, adding that citizens are angry and may revolt against bad governance in the country.
