TOR TIV AYATSE SUPPORTING ALIA FOR HIS SELFISH INTEREST

…Wants his brother as future governor

The current Tor Tiv, Professor James Ayatse, is on a multi-billion payroll of Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia. His job is to ensure that Alia gets a second term so as to hand over to Tor Tiv’s younger brother in the future. The two men have struck a deal: Governor Alia will zone the governorship to Kwande after his tenure and ensure that either Tor Tiv’s younger brother, who is the current Commissioner for Ministry of Justice and Public Order, Barr. Timothy Ornguga Ayatse, or Alia’s chief voodoo man, Moses Ternenge (who is also from Shangev-Ya in Kwande like Ayatse), emerge as Alia’s successor.

Prof. Ayatse is the reason Governor Alia will never reconcile with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, and other stakeholders in the state. What he did in Gboko by inviting Akume and Alia was fake. Before that meeting, he and Governor Alia had decided that nothing positive would come out of the meeting. Ayatse knows that true reconciliation will put him out of control. This is also why the governor has ignored the directive by President Bola Tinubu to set up a committee of leaders of the state including the SGF and other former governors to meet with him in Abuja.

Tor Tiv Ayatse misses no opportunity at public events to berate other Tiv sons and sing the high praise of Governor Alia. Remember the strong accusation the Tor Tiv made against Abuja politicians at Benue Government House during the town hall meeting with President Bola Tinubu in June, when he claimed that some politicians were praying that the insecurity situation in the state gets worse so that a state of emergency could be declared. Prof Ayatse was only reciting a script he and Governor Alia had rehearsed together to accuse opponents of the governor and exempt him from any blame.

Tor Tiv Ayatse is the one currently influencing key appointments in the Alia administration. He hates the people of Turan with venom. He has ensured that Turan people get nothing from the Alia government. It started with the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Joseph Alakali, whose sack he and Ternenge influenced.

The unholy alliance between Governor Alia and Tor Tiv Ayatse has denied Turan people of Kwande the opportunity to produce the current Council Chairman. The position has been wrongly and unfairly taken to Shangev-Ya, where the last council chairman came from.

It does not bother Ayatse that he is the Tor Tiv from Shangev-Ya, that the Kwande Local Government Chairman is from Shangev-Ya, the current Commissioner is from Shangev-Ya, and the Assembly Majority Leader is also from Shangev-Ya. How wicked, corrupt and selfish can a man be? The Tor Tiv and Governor Alia got an Ushongo man, Saater Tiseer, removed as Majority Leader of the Benue State House of Assembly and gave the position to Shangev-Ya, appointing Thomas Dugeri to the role.

The Tor Tiv is currently building a university in Gboko with the billions that Governor Alia gives him to retain his support and loyalty. He has bought expensive properties in choice locations in Makurdi and Abuja. Why would a traditional ruler want to become the wealthiest man in the land, amass wealth, and buy exotic properties left and right? The Tor Tiv is aspiring to surpass the wealth of other traditional rulers in the country, like the Emir of Kano and the Ooni of Ife, among others. What he fails to understand is that the structure of those traditional institutions is different from that of the Tor Tiv institution, where anyone, including a former university teacher, can ascend the throne.

Tor Tiv Ayatse should ask himself if he has ever seen any of the Emirs in the North, Obas/Oonis of the West, Igwes of the Southeast, or Amanyanabos of the South-South publicly endorse a candidate for an election, including incumbent governors? Never will such a thing happen! Prof. Ayatse wants to set Benue and Tiv land in particular on fire. He said in Adikpo on Sunday that those who want to contest the 2027 governorship election will be taught a lesson and dealt with. That was not only a reckless statement but also a dangerous one coming from a man who should be the father to all.

It is now clear that Tor Tiv Ayatse was part of the deal for the Fulanization of Benue State, which Alia had with Fulani; that is why he kept sealed lips for a long time when Tiv people were being massacred by Fulani under Alia. Alia gave him a good share of the N7 billion that Fulani brought to sponsor his campaign. All that you see Tor Tiv do now is a desperate attempt to protect his ill-gotten wealth. There are many obscene things that Alia and Ayatse do together in secret.

Benue State is in real trouble under the two conmen – Governor Alia and his partner in hypocrisy and corruption, the Tor Tiv Prof James Ayatse!
