…..Lauds Gov Ododo for being fair to the State, LG civil servants, and other areas

Chief of Zango Daji in Kogi State, Chief Abdullahi Ibrahim Ichogu (1), has said that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has hit the ground running with remarkable achievements based on an assessment of every ramification.

Chief Ichogu (1) stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi State.

He said he was elated by the series of activities initiated by the present administration to consolidate on his predecessor emphasizing that the Ododo-led administration has so far been fair to civil servants and local government workers.

The Zango Daji Chief explained that unionists have been considered for top jobs in the state including the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Special Adviser on labor matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka, and Senior Special Adviser on Labour matters, Comrade Tade Ayodele, and expressed hope for continuous attention to workers.

The traditional ruler also commended the Governor in the aspect of employment of hunters to beef up security, construction of roads, and other social amenities and prayed for Divine direction and wisdom to make Kogites rejoice at all times.

He also congratulated the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Mohammed Tijani Anaje on his birthday anniversary and wished him a long life and prosperity.

The Royal Father however expressed disappointment over being neglected in the scheme of things, emphasizing that the promise made to him to withdraw his case due to the omission of his party’s logo and name from ballot papers in the 2015 election was not fulfilled.

He called Ododo to look into the matter for posterity’s sake saying, he did the best based on the intervention of APC stakeholders across the country including the immediate past Ohinoyi of Ebira Land and and the late Alhaji Ado Ibrahim.

The Royal Father also warned those linking Zango to Hausa predominant settlement to desist noting that historically the place was known as Azango Village as well as Urukuatimi belonging to Central Senatorial District of Kogi State.
