Ahead of the forthcoming Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Congress scheduled for this year, Al-Mustapha Ismail, the Immediate Past Adavi Local Government Coordinator and Forum Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), leading 21 LGAs coordinators, has declared his intention to contest for the position of State Chairman.
The former Adavi Local Government NYCN Coordinator, Ismail, has announced his readiness to pick nomination forms soon and plans to use the occasion to highlight his achievements.
Under Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail’s leadership, both Adavi Local Government and forum of NYCN experienced peace, progress, and massive development.
As Forum Chairman of the NYCN, he effectively coordinated and led 21 local government coordinators, fostering unity and collaboration among youth leaders.
His tenure is marked by significant improvements in community engagement and youth empowerment initiatives.
He Promoted peace and stability within the local government area, creating a conducive environment for development.
Spearheaded projects and programs that contributed to infrastructural and social development.
Enhanced youth participation in governance and decision-making processes through the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
A brief biography of Boss AL-MUSTAPHA ISMAIL, the most leading aspirant in NYCN STATE CHAIRMANSHIP contest.
✔️ He hail from ADAVI local government area of Kogi state.
✔️ He is an elite, a peace lover, a unity builder and a youth leader per excellent.
✔️ He has served in different unions, on different capacity before joining Kogi state youth council in 2017 .
✔️ He has served 2 tenure as a NYCN COORDINATOR for ADAVI local government area.
✔️ He was the immediate past Chairman, Forum of 21 LGA’S NYCN COORDINATORS KOGI STATE.
Now – Contesting for the state chairmanship position of NYCN Kogi state.
✔️ During 8 years service as the NYCN COORDINATOR, He works diligently with the then Local government ADMINISTRATOR, SECURITY AGENCY & THE IMMEDIATE PAST EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN to make sure there is peace and unity among the youths and others.
✔️ With the cooperation of his executives and stakeholders, he organized programs for the youths e. g
✖️ symposium or Town hall meeting 〰️ On the needs for self reliance, entrepreneurship and the needs to focus on your studies as students.
✖️ Distribution of writing materials to public schools
✖️ Drug abuse programs. – for secondary schools student and youths in various communities.

When he became the forum chairman of the 21 LGA’S NYCN COORDINATORS.
✔️ He use his office to romance with NGO’S and government ministries or parastatals to advocate for youths empowerments across the state. e. g
✖️ Youths participation in NATIONAL ORIENTATION AGENCY ( NOA).Youths across the state participating on their workshop programs
✖️ Red Cross society of Nigeria. Involving youth council members in their health programs across the state.
✖️ HYPPADEC- where over 500 Youths of Kogi state were trained in different fields and start packs was distributed to them.
✖️ He also lience with CENCUS & INEC to make use of youths in their locality for sensitization of their programs.
✖️ Lastly, he has use the office as a forum chairman to mobilized the youths across the state to support the immediate past state government and current government to succeed and to win election by moving round the local governments for campaigns.
