Dubagari Junior, Personal Assistant to the Nasarawa State Governor on youth and student affairs, has criticized Peter Obi, the former Labour Party Presidential candidate, stating that he lacks the capacity and basic knowledge of governance to lead the country.
Junior who also priotize in promoting youth engagement and governance in his State advised Nigerian youths to refrain from praise singing, adding that individuals like Obi should not be taken seriously.
The hype is over. The illusion is gone. And the truth is that Peter Obi is heading straight for humiliation in 2027.

It is about power, structure, and dominance. Obi has none of these, and that is why he will lose disgracefully, coming a distant third with crumbs of votes.
Obi Cannot Even Deliver His Own State
How do you want to be president of Nigeria when you cannot even control your own backyard? In Anambra, Obi is politically irrelevant. He cannot produce a governor, he cannot stop Governor Charles Soludo, and he is too scared to even fight for influence in his own state. The truth is simple: if you cannot deliver your candidate in Anambra, you cannot deliver Nigeria.
Real political heavyweights start from their base — Tinubu did it in Lagos before conquering the nation. But Obi? He runs away from Anambra politics like a man afraid of his own shadow, only to seek relevance in other people’s states. That is political cowardice, not leadership.
South-East Leaders Are Abandoning Him
Obi cannot even command loyalty in the South-East. Look at Governor Alex Otti of Abia — instead of following Obi, he is openly working with President Tinubu. By 2027, other governors in the region will align with APC leaving Obi completely isolated.
The so-called “Igbo candidate” has no governors, no senators, no federal power bloc — nothing but noise. That is why his movement is collapsing like a pack of cards.
Religion Politics Will Not Save Him Again,
In 2023, Obi shamelessly exploited religion to mobilize votes, turning the pulpit into a campaign ground. Nigerians saw through it. By 2027, nobody will fall for that gimmick. Hunger does not know religion, and survival does not respect sermons. The election will be decided by performance and structures — and Obi has neither.
2027 is already shaping into a two-horse race between the ruling APC under President Tinubu and the PDP, which will likely produce a southern candidate from Oyo.
Obi will be a spectator, running around with his shrinking crowd while the real political giants lock horns. His “third force” dream will scatter into thin air, leaving him stranded with token votes.
Peter Obi has failed to build political structures, failed to dominate his home state, failed to secure loyalty in the South-East, and failed to move beyond emotional sloganeering. By 2027, his weakness will be exposed fully. Nigerians will witness how “social media noise” cannot translate into political victory.
