The team’s path to glory saw them defeat top teams from the USA and Qatar, ending with an impressive 5–1 aggregate. Otuaro credited not just the students, but also the teachers and families whose mentorship and encouragement were vital to their success.
Otuaro also extended warm commendation to the Government of Delta State under the leadership of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, acknowledging that such success is only possible in an environment where education is genuinely prioritized.
He noted that the administration’s continued commitment to supporting schools, teachers, and students has helped lay the groundwork for achievements like this, calling it proof of what can happen when leaders place learning at the forefront of development.
