The Emit of Zaria , His Royal Highness, Nuhu Bamali has announced Prince Mustapha Madaki as the new Dan Isa Zazzau following the death of Late Umar Shehu who died on Wednesday after a brief illness.
An announcement from the palace of the Royal father appointed the grand child of Late Emir of Zazzau, Dr Shehu Idris on Thursday.
Until his appointment, Prince Mustapha is the heir apparent of the Zazzau Emirate having lost his father in his early life , while his late uncle, Umar Shehu Idris, the previous Dan Isa Zazzau took him up for sponsorship.
A staff of Central Bank of Nigeria, the new Dan Isa Zazzau promised to play the role of his grand father, father and uncle in his new traditional assignment.
While paying homage to the Emir of Zazzau, Dr Nuhu Bamali on Friday over the new role, he assured the Emirate to continue to protect both the traditional and revered heritage of the age long traditional institution.
