Group writes Gov Bello, incoming Gov Ododo, unveils what the new govt should do.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE OUTGOING AND INCOMING GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE

Your Excellency’s sir,

We begin by giving God the glory to Allah for a successful completion of your tenure which began about 8years ago. I wish to congratulates your worthy successor Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo.

Kogi State witness tremendous progress and positive changes under your administration as the 4th Executive Governor among which is the involvement of the youth and bringing onboard of men and women, sons and daughters of nobody to the positions of responsibilities. We full of appreciations sir.

While this wonderful team work assiduously to deliver good governance on the mandate of New Direction Government we commend their effort and appreciate their contributions. Some started with you to serve for 8years while some serve for less than.

Your Excellency sir, it’s quite pertinent to let you know that many among those who served for 8years are still parading themselves to serve under the next administration claiming to be the secret keeper of your tenure both administratives and finances.

As a Concern GYB Youth Forum, we know your administration has been fair to all, we believe there is nothing secrecy, therefore, their claims are irrelevant and as such there should be no room for them in the next administration. They have contributed meritoriously for the past 8 years. Your Excellency sir, we crave your indulgence to consider those who served less than 4years and new faces/names in the next administration.

Your Excellency sir, note that in the last Governorship election, we have many office holders, stakeholders, party chieftains and members who deliver their polling units even wards while many 8years served appointees failed to deliver their polling units. This is just to tells you how relevant they are in their respective home – Ododo 2nd term work has already began, we don’t want sleeping appointees, we want those that can deliver not just units but wards and LGA .

We believe our concern will be look into and actions taking sir.
