Eid-El-Fitr: Nasarawa lawmaker, Elder Jacob Kudu doles out N2m to over 500 aged persons of 65 and above in his constituency.
Member representing Nassarawa Eggon East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Elder Hon. Jacob Kudu Ajegana, the oldest among the lawmakers has gave out N2million cash to over five hundred elderly and aged persons who are 65years and above in his constituency to enable them celebrate the upcoming Sallah at ease.
Hon Kudu, who is the Chairman, House Committee on NASIEC handed over the funds to them today Sunday at Nassarawa Eggon Guest Inn.
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of supporting the elderly population amidst the economic challenges faced by the nation.
” They elderly need to be supported considering the effect of subsidy removal and hardship in the country
” This act of benevolence reflects my commitment to addressing the welfare needs of vulnerable groups within my constituency”he said.
He urged citizens to rally behind the policies of President Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule, emphasizing their potential to usher in a new era of prosperity for Nigeria.
“It is crucial that we support the visionary leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Sule to help Nigeria achieve its renewed hope.
“Together, we can overcome our challenges and build a brighter future for all,” he said.
