Member representing Uke/Karshi constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Saidu Gude, has distributed 435 bags of rice, assorted wrappers and other clothing materials as well as cash to the people of his constituency ahead of sallah celebration.

He also distributed fertilizer to the people in order to ensure food security in his constituency.

Hon. Musa Gude (SDP) who is the Deputy Minority Whip of the House made the distribution today in Karshi Development Area of the State.

The lawmaker, who is the Chairman, House Committee on NUDB and hold the traditional title of Jagaban Karshi said that the gesture was borne out of his desire to change on the lives of the people of his constituency positively.

” I have decided to purchase and distribute these items in order to enable Muslims and other people of my constituency to celebrate the forthcoming sallah with joy

” These items comprises of rice, wrappers and other clothing materials, fertilizers as well as cash

” This is to improve on the standard of living of my constituents during and after the sallah celebration,” he said.

Hon Musa Gude said that he distributed the fertilizers in order to boost food security in his constituency.

” And this is also to ensure bumper harvest during 2024 farming season and beyond,” he added.

Hon Musa Gude assured of continued good and quality representation at the state legislature.

He called on the people of his constituency to continue to support him, Speaker Danladi Jatau, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed.

On his part, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly has hailed Hon Gude for always coming to the aid of the people of his constituency and called for its sustenance.

” What Hon Musa has done is a good gesture. He is well known for providing the dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency.

” Today Hon Jagaba is distributing these items and cash to you in order to improve on your standard of living and the overall development of the constituency,” he said.

The Speaker called on the people of Uke/Karshi constituency to continue to pray and support Hon Gude, Gov Abdullahi Sule and other leaders to succeed.

” What we need from you is prayers and your support to succeed

” Please continue to pray and support Hon Jagaba, Gov Abdullahi Sule’s administration and other leaders to succeed,” he said

Speaker Jatau appreciated Hon Jagaba and other colleagues for giving his leadership maximum support to succeed.

The Speaker assured of his leadership readiness to continue to provide all inclusive leadership in the House.

The State number three citizen enjoined the people of the state to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations for the overall development of the state.

On his part, HRH, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Bako 111, the Emir of Karshi commended Hon Musa Gude for the gesture and for always coming to the aid of his people.

The Emir of Karshi, who was represented by Salisu Dauda, the Dokajin Karshi said that the gesture would go a long way in improving on the standard of living of the people of his constituency.
