May Day: Nasarawa Speaker salutes workers, assures of enhance partnership, legislation to better welfare.
As Nigerian workers mark this year’s May Day otherwise called Workers Day celebration, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has identified with workers and acknowledged their giant contributions in administration and governance in the State.
Speaker Jatau who described workers as engine room of government assured that the 7th Assembly under his watch will continue to provide all the needed support to better the lots of the State civil servants at all times.

A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker, Jibrin Gwamna quotes the Speaker Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau as congratulating Nasarawa workers on the unique day, describing them as hardworking, understanding and patriotic citizens.
The statement said the State Number Three Citizen is happy with the State workers and assured them of full legislative support and partnership towards encouraging and supporting government to better their welfare at all times.
Speaker Danladi Jatau also commended His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule on workers welfare, training, prompt payment of salaries, pension and gratuity for retirees and the recent employment of casual workers in the State into main stream civil service among others.
The Speaker acknowledged the support of workers to the government of the day just as he congratulated them for marking yet another may day calling for sustained and effective working relationship between the Labour Unions and government for smooth administration in the State.
Speaker Jatau urged workers to continue to work as a team and contribute positively to the development of the State adding that the State Assembly will continue to strive for their enhance well-being at all times.
