WAEC/SSCE: STETSCOM Chairman, Paul Jibrin Inspects Exams Conduct In Kogi

….Warns Against Misconducts

As secondary schools nationwide begin this year’s 2024 Senior schools certificate examinations [WAEC], Kogi state executive chairman of Science technical education and teaching service commission ‘STETSCOM, Hon Paul Jbrin has commenced State wide inspection tour to ascertain the level of preparation and compliance of schools to rules guiding the conduct of the examinations.

Hon Paul Jbrin who led other top management, team to Government Science Secondary, GYB Model Science Adankolo, Crowther Memorial College and Bishop Delise Secondary Schools.

He explained that he was visiting schools to see for himself the arrangements put in place and the general conduct of the West Africa examinations council [WAEC/SSCE].

Addressing staff and Students at the government science school Lokoja, Hon Paul Jbrin admonished the school authorities to do everything humanly possible to ensure that the examinations is not only rancour Free but all form of mal practices should be erased completely to give the state a good name.

 

At the GYB model science secondary school Adankolo -Lokoja the STETSCOM Chairman praised the State government especially the immediate past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello for his enormous investment by according the once deteriorated school a face lift that has become a cynosure for all eyes

Hon Paul Jbrin however expressed the hope and explicit confidence that all the schools he visited will work hard to make their students come out with flying colors thereby making the state proud by their students excellent performances to justify the humongous spending by the state government on the students and the advancement of qualitative education in the State.

The four aforementioned school principals who hosted the state executive chairman of Science technical education and teaching service commission ‘ STETSCOM’ praised the State executive Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo for putting a square peg in a square hole by appointing a seasoned administrator and astute educationist to manage the affairs of the commission.

The Principals gave an assurance of their resolved to make the state proud by their students coming with excellent grades when the results of the examinations are released asserting that all the required teaching and training have been inculcated in their students that will enhance their unhindered performances..
