Kogi: NYCN Adavi LG condemns burning of market, calls on security agencies to fish out perpetrators
Youths in Kogi State are voicing out their voices against the wanton destruction of both government and public establishments located Zariyangi market in Adavil local government area of Kogi State by suspected e unorganized youths.
Hon Boss Ismail Al-mustapha, Adavi Local Government Area, Coordinator, National Youth Council Nigeria, NYCN, has frowned at some criminal elements mainly young people vandalizing both government and public establishments, calling on them to change for the good of the society.
Global Times Nigeria reports that the ZARIYAGI market in ADAVI local government was set ablaze by suspected Okehi LG youths, a sad development that called for condemnation from political figures, highly influential people and religious leaders amongst others.

According to report, the market was first re-located by local government council over relocation of road construction that affected the market.
Hon Boss Ismail Al-mustapha, who is also the immediate past supervisory councilor in Adavil local government area expressed concerned over recurring vandalization of Goverment and public facilities by some recalcitrant elements in the society.
He noted that livelihoods are jeopardized with items worth billions of naira destroyed, leaving people jobless and hopeless.
He appealed to Kogi State government and well to do Nigerians to intervene quickly in order to revive and give the area a live it’s deserve most most.
While calling on the authorities to arrest and prosecute, the NYCN zonal coordinator emphasize the need for the Kogi state government, commissioner of police, the DSS, and other security agencies in the state to bring the pepertuators to book and face law, so that the other ones will learn a lesson
