NILDS Trains Legislative Aides for Effective Service Delivery.
National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, has organised a three-day capacity building workshop for legislative aides in the 10th National Assembly.
Prof. Abubakar O.Sulaiman, DG NILDS, while delivering the opening remark on Monday in Abuja, said the target is to surpass the 9th assembly record of 3000 aides in the current assembly.

“In this 10th assembly, the institute is determined to surpass the record in the 9th assembly where we trained over 3,000 legislative aides,” he said.
During his speech, Prof. Sulaiman emphasized the importance of active participation and note-taking, highlighting the workshop’s goal to enhance the aides’ abilities to effectively support legislative processes and procedures
The workshop tailored to enable participants to blend their skills and experience into the process of legislative governance is structured into three categories that comprise foundational, intermediate, and advanced classes.
